Dotted line indicates median, dashed line mean natal dispersal distance. Females disperse slightly farther than males. The natal dispersal distance is left-skewed for both sexes, indicative of philopatric settlement behaviour. The natal dispersal distances found in the Finnish white-tailed eagle ranged from 4.5 to 352.3 km for females and from 2.4 to 289.3 km for males
