  1. Models included fixed effects for the latitudinal position of the ITF, longitude, season, their additive effects and interaction effects. We also allowed for intercepts to vary randomly between individuals in all models. Models are ranked according to increasing ∆AIC/decreasing AIC weight, with the best performing model on top
