Overwintering points were determined from GPS tags retrieved from Gray Catbirds breeding in the South Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada (red squares), and the Bitterroot River Valley, Montana, USA (blue circles). The size of the symbol represents how long the bird stayed at the site, ranging from 4 to 169 days. Most birds had more than one overwintering site. Gray Catbird range map provided by IUCN (2016).
