Lines indicate duration between departure and arrival (Madagascar and Cyprus) while symbols represent exact departure and arrival dates for each trip where known (each individual is represented with different symbol as shown in the legend, with consecutive trips for repeatedly tracked individuals bunched together). To aid comparison, day of the year was used. The peak onset of southbound migration was between 25 – 27th October, and northbound between 9 – 15th April
