Time series of daily target counts collected on the vertical antenna (VSR) of each radar unit during the four trials. Each bar represents the total number of tracked targets collected during the 24-h period beginning and ending at midnight. Activity during the first three trials (A, B, and C) was sporadic with distinct peaks, typical of migration periods. Activity during trial D was reduced and consistent, thereby more indicative of post-migration breeding season activity and was omitted from further analysis. Inset boxplots summarize daily target counts within each trial, with a bold line representing the median and shaded boxes representing the interquartile range
