Collective area used by all bioprobes. Grey seal bioprobes collectively used an area of 11,308.28 km 2 (light blue, 95 % density quantile) and intensely used an area of 31.07 km 2 (purple, 25 % density quantile). One instrumented seal travelled to the southern Gulf of St. Lawrence and was used to study individual area use (a). The majority of instrumented seals stayed on the Scotian Shelf surrounding Sable Island and were used to study collective area use (b)
