Turning angle distributions for short and long steps during dispersal. Turning angle distributions combined for the 10 dispersers during their dispersal period are shown. The upper graph shows the distribution of turning angles for steps longer than 854 m (n = 355 steps) and the lower graph shows the distribution of turning angles for steps shorter than 854 m (n = 1,292 steps). This boundary was derived from the segmented regression breakpoint in Figure 3.
