Points show individual BCIres values for the badgers in this study; individuals are placed on the line corresponding to their age at the time of the study. Post-reproductive females have weaker associations between BCIres and survival probability [4]; therefore, they are shown as open circles, with the difference in survival probability due to their reproductive status represented by an arrow from a closed circle on their corresponding age curve
